How to chat with mIRC

1. Download and install the software from www.mirc.com.

2. Setup: Click the “add” button and enter a “description” (#esc) and the server (irc.ham.de.euirc.net).
After you are finished, click “add” once again.

3. Connect: Now – if “#esc” is selected as channel – click on “connect to IRC server”.

4. Join: If you get a popup window as in the image below, you can add the room “#esc” and then double-click on it or click on the “Join” button.

If you do not get this popup window, type

and press enter on your keyboard.

You can delete other channels from the list to find #esc more quickly.
